General information

 

At the initiative of the public, in 2004 in Grodno, and in 2007 in other regional centers of the country and the city of Minsk, public organizations «Belaya Rus» were founded. Preparations began for the creation of the republican public association «Belaya Rus».

 

The founding congress, at which the issues of creating an association on a national scale were considered and the charter was approved, took place on  November 17, 2007 , and from this date the Republican public association «Belaya Rus» began its history.


On December 12, 2007, the Ministry of Justice of Belarus registered the Republican Public Association «Belaya Rus». The regional, district and primary organizations that existed before these events became an integral part of the republican association in accordance with the charter and the decision of the founding congress.


The official heraldic symbol of the association was registered on August 15, 2008.


The main documents regulating the activities of the ROO «Belaya Rus» are  the charter  and  program . The highest body of the association is the congress, the permanent governing body is the republican council. Organizational structures have been created in all administrative-territorial units of the country.


The Moscow district organization of the city of Minsk, the ROO «Belaya Rus» was created  on January 23, 2008 .


The primary trade union organization of JSC Gomeltorgmash of the Republican public association Belaya Rus was created on July 21, 2023 and registered by the decision of the administration of the Moscow district of Minsk on October 3, 2023.


Today,  the Republican Public Association «Belaya Rus» is  230,000  caring patriots of their country, united in more than  8,700  primary organizations. Our work is based on the clear principles  of the presidential strategic course  for the development of the country. We are building our future on a solid foundation -patriotism . This is respect for our history, culture and traditions, the spiritual values ​​of our people. This is responsibility for our country and its future. «Belaya Rus» promotes  the unification of patriotically minded , responsible and active citizens around common goals and priorities.


«Belaya Rus» takes  an active part in all electoral campaigns  of the Republic of Belarus. This is methodological, organizational, technical, informational assistance to members of our public association participating in the elections; conducting explanatory work with the population, organizing dialogue platforms. «Belaya Rus» stimulates  youth initiative . We listen to the opinions of caring young people! As part of  the project work  , «Belaya Rus» implements educational, explanatory-informational and volunteer functions, is engaged in activities aimed at popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of the Belarusian people, military-patriotic education, and a healthy lifestyle.


We conduct  dialogue on equal terms and strengthen ties with international partners .  «Belaya Rus» is a platform for dialogue  between representatives of various groups, associations, parties focused on constructive and progressive development. «Belaya Rus» undertakes to organize  monitoring of citizens' requests and interests , as well as conveying their opinions to government agencies through the work of public reception offices, organizing dialogue platforms, and dialogue forums.

Goals and objectives of the ROO «Belaya Rus»


The goal of the activities of the ROO «Belaya Rus» is to promote the unification of progressive forces of society interested in building a strong and prosperous Belarus, a socially just society based on the patriotic and spiritual-moral values ​​of the Belarusian people.


The association considers its main task to be the consolidation of society and all constructive forces oriented toward cooperation with the government and its support at all levels, in order to achieve a high quality of life in creative work. «Belaya Rus», being a public association, does not focus on the struggle for power, which makes it possible to perceive all processes through the eyes of an ordinary person and analyze them from the state positions.


The objectives of the ROO «Belaya Rus» are:

  • promoting the participation of citizens in the implementation of the country's socio-economic development objectives;

  • promoting the formation of a strong, effective, social state capable of ensuring a decent standard of living for citizens and guaranteeing the protection of their interests;

  • participation in the formation of civil society in the Republic of Belarus;

  • consolidation of public forces in order to achieve the statutory goal;

  • educating citizens and developing their interest in active participation in the life of the country, fostering patriotism as the most important spiritual and social value;

  • attracting the attention of government agencies, the public and the media to solving current problems of the development of the country and society;

  • promoting the development of international cooperation and establishing interaction with public associations of other countries.

Main activities of the ROO «Belaya Rus»

«Belaya Rus» is initially aimed at supporting the political course of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The ideological platform of the RPO is based on the ideology of the Belarusian state and the existing model of social development.

  1. Achieving public consensus. Today, in the face of new challenges facing Belarusian society, it is vitally important to preserve the integrity and unity of the Belarusian people. We will promote public consensus in the vision of the future of Belarus, its place and role in the world, the establishment of a generally recognized framework for the struggle of opinions, and the formation of an active public position in every citizen of the country.

  2. Participation in the implementation of social projects. ROO «Belaya Rus» will initiate and actively participate in the implementation of social projects aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens, strengthening the health of the nation, supporting the family, developing education and science.

  3. Support for young people. Solving the problems facing modern Belarus requires the active participation of proactive, talented, creatively thinking young people. The ROO «Belaya Rus» offers young people interesting projects and new forms of participation in solving urgent problems of the country's development. We do everything to create favorable conditions for the constructive self-realization of young people.

  4. Civil control.  The ROO «Belaya Rus» strives to become a constructive public force providing constant assistance to the country's leadership in preventing, identifying and overcoming shortcomings in the work of government bodies.

The ROO «Belaya Rus» will seek to create an institute for public examination of draft laws and bills, promote the organization of public councils under government bodies, organize public reception offices for considering citizens' proposals and comments, and seek the creation of a system for informing citizens about the activities of government bodies and officials.

 

Participation in the work of public organizations:

 

  • coordinating council of public associations;

  • coordinating council of the ideological activists;

  • commissions on juvenile affairs;

  • commissions for assistance to families and schools;

  • commission for combating drunkenness and the Prevention Council;

  • coordinating council of hostels;

  • headquarters of voluntary squads for the protection of public order;

  • collegial body of territorial public self-government.

Members of the ROO «Belaya Rus» are part of information and propaganda groups.

  • territorial centers of social services for the population;

If you share  the Program of the ROO «Belaya Rus» and recognize its  Charter , are not indifferent to the fate of our Motherland and want to take an active part in the public life of the country - you can become a member of  «Belaya Rus» .


To do this, if you are an employee of JSC Gomeltorgmash, contact the primary organization of JSC Gomeltorgmash, ROO Belaya Rus.


For other citizens, it is necessary to contact the primary organization of the ROO «Belaya Rus» at the place of work. If there is none, then the territorial organization at the place of residence.

 

Important:  Members of the ROO «Belaya Rus» may be capable citizens of the Republic of Belarus, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons who have reached  the age of 18 .

The amount of membership fees is determined by the Charter of the ROO «Belaya Rus» and cannot be less than 0.3% of the monthly income of the association member.
